Letters From My Future Wife

A 76-day devotional to build men's identity and inspire women's hearts

Book Bio

Letters from My Future Wife is a 76-day devotional written as a collection of heartfelt letters to a future husband, each inspired by a passage of Scripture and ending with a personal prayer. Written during Holly Olsen’s own season of waiting, the book is designed to strengthen a man’s identity in Christ, inspire a woman’s heart to pray faithfully for her future husband, and encourage anyone in a season of waiting. More than a book about finding a spouse, its greatest desire is to help readers pursue a deeper, more intimate relationship with Jesus.

Origin Story

Letters from My Future Wife wasn’t written with the intention of becoming a book. During my season of waiting, I simply spent time with the Lord each day. As I read His Word, the Holy Spirit would often highlight a passage of Scripture that deeply ministered to me. From that place, I would write a letter to my future husband and pray over his life. I never imagined anyone else would read those pages.

After sharing some of those letters with a close friend, they continually encouraged me to publish them, believing they would bring hope to others who were also trusting God for a spouse. About eight months later, while fasting and praying, I felt the Holy Spirit speak the words, “It is written.” In that moment, I knew He was calling me to gather those letters and release them as a book. My prayer is that these pages inspire readers to draw closer to Jesus, trust God’s perfect timing, and align their hearts with His will as they allow Him to prepare them for the spouse He has for them.
